New CPLS Board of Directors

At our AGM in March, Adelia MacWilliam stepped down as President of the board in order to focus her time as Artistic Director of Cascadia Poetics LAB events, which include our biennial festival, biennial retreat, the Red Tree reading series, and the soon-to-be-launched poetry workshop series.

New to the board is Claire Gilmore, Comox resident and managing editor of the Watershed Sentinel magazine.

Louis Stevenson was voted new board President, Sophie Gilmore stays on as Vice-President and Treasurer, and Danika Dinsmore stays on as Secretary. Members-at-Large Ed Varney and Carla Stein will also continue for their second year.

Our board brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table.

In other news, we’ve received our first government grant from B.C. Arts for the 2019 poetry festival. Stay tuned for more updates on the 2019 festival lineup and program.
