The most up-to-date schedule for the 4th Cascadia Poetry Festival, Nov 3-6, 2016 at Spring Street Center (1101 15th at the corner of 15th & Spring in Seattle), has been released. Poets for the late night programming, the After Party, will be announced before the fest begins. Living Room is a FREE, DEMOCRATIC and OPEN reading for poets to read their own work in a circle format with other poets and happens 3-5pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday during the fest. George Stanley and Brenda Hillman are past Living Room participants and the reading will be limited to 40 participants. This year’s fest honors the legacy of Denise Levertov and there will be a ritual walk to her grave Sunday morning and the unveiling of a plaque outside her last home in Seward Park.
